Youth

The youth had five separate draws at the June show for two sets of dogfood and treats, a beauty basket, a calming package and a bird feeder and feed.  Lorna Rutherford and Jennie Bathgate each won a set of dogfood and treats, John McHardy won the beauty basket, Kari Reiter won the calming package and Sue Zimmer the bird feeder and feed.  Thank you to all who supported our youth, they made $86.00.  They are attempting to raise money to pay for their stalls at the Youth Team Tournament that takes place in Paris on July 31st and August 1st.

The youth’s spaghetti dinner was a great success with their making a profit of $530.00.  Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our youth.  Also thank you to the youth who came and helped out at the dinner.  A big thank you to Tillsonburg Metro who donated the food for the spaghetti dinner.

The youth are having a raffle on two clocks, one with a western rider and the other an english rider.  These clocks were made by one of the youth, Maegan Nagy.  The tickets are one for $2.00 and three for $5.00.  The winning ticket will be drawn at the banquet on Saturday, November 6th..

The youth are still collecting popcans as a fundraiser.  If you can help them out by saving your popcans and letting John McHardy (519-537-7179) know you have them, so that pickup can be arranged.  I am sure they will appreciate it.
